Perceptive Informatics, the eClinical subsidiary of US-based contract research organisation (CRO) Parexel International, has signed a licence agreement with the EuroQoL Group giving it access to EQ-5D, the Group’s standardised instrument for measuring health-related quality of life (QoL) outcomes.

Canadian life sciences company MDS has reported preliminary results for the fourth quarter showing that net revenues at its US-based contract research unit, MDS Pharma Services, dropped by 8.9% year on year to US$112 million.
