Dr Love was most recently the Executive Vice-President of Research and Development at Onyx Pharmaceuticals, overseeing the successful approval of Kyprolis. Prior to that, he was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Nuvelo, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company from March 2001 to January 2009, having been appointed President and Chief Operating Officer in January 2001.
