The Business Manager of the Year awards is free to enter and is open to all levels of pharmaceutical sales manager and commercial sales teams working with the NHS.

How to enter
To enter simply decide which category best suits your area of expertise. You can choose any category regardless of your current job title. To help you choose, examples of job titles that might suit particular categories are given in the full criteria (
Categories page).
Once you have made your choice simply
enter here. This will take you through to an application form. Fill out the form and submit it and we will email you the case-study challenge for your chosen category.
How to nominate a colleague
If you have a colleague you would like to nominate for the competition simply
click here and fill out the application form. We will send an email to your nominee inviting them to enter, and will send you confirmation of this.
The first round
The case study must be answered in 500 words and returned to PharmaTimes by 29 June 2012. All case studies are anonymised and judged by our independent panel of senior industry sales leaders and NHS prescribers. Entrants who have made the finals will be notified by phone by 12 July 2012.
The final round
Finals day, in which entrants will be asked to perform a competency-based exercise in front of our panel of expert judges, will take place at Quintiles’ premises in Reading on 13 September 2012 for single category entrants, and on 27 September 2012 for commercial team entrants.
The Awards dinner will be held on 25 October 2012 at The Royal College of Physicians, London, where the winners will be announced.
