Key Account Manager
Your job title could be: key account manager, NHS liaison manager, healthcare development manager, senior account manager or integrated healthcare specialist.
Your role is primarily customer facing, where the customer is a regional or local health economy including CCG, NHS foundation trust, SHA (or equivalent in Wales/Scotland/NorthernIreland).
You are tasked with helping to deliver the commercial objectives within your region, working cross-functionally with other stakeholders in your business and will have responsibility for deciding which accounts to develop with investment and time. You create a positive environment for your company, its medicines and services and help deliver improved access for patients and health outcomes aligned with your customers' objectives. You have some influence over resource allocation, local marketing and joint working may be part of your remit.

Commercial Team
This category is for cross-functional teams and could include sales, marketing, medical and health economics tasked with ensuring uptake of medicines at a national, regional or local level in line with Health Technology Assessment guidance.
The Commercial Team category is for up to five individuals from any part of the organisation and is not just confined to teams who are currently working together. The challenges will focus on uptake of medicines and services where positive HTA assessment is already in place.

RBM Team
For teams of up to four RBMs competing head to head with RBM’s from other companies in a one day business simulation. You don’t need to work within the same business unit but it helps if you are used to working together under pressure (the simulation is run against the clock!). Feedback is provided post event on every decision point, interaction and how you worked together as a team and so the day will provide a useful developmental opportunity.

Aspiring Team Leader
The Aspiring Team Leader category is for those who wish to pursue a role in first line management.
You will most likely be a territory representative with a proven track record and have passed the ABPI exam. You may already be taking on additional responsibilities in line with your aspiration to move to a first line sales management role. You need authorisation from your line manager to take part.

Senior Team Leader
You are an experienced first line sales manager and have a solid track record in running a successful sales team. Your primary responsibility is for the performance of the regional sales team but you feel you have the potential to take on more responsibility.
This category assumes rounded experience as a first line sales manager and a deep understanding of the current NHS business environment. As a senior team leader we would encourage you to nominate other colleagues (nominate)
