PharmaTimes Meet the Bosses - Overview
This thriving business club meets three times a year in Central London and attracts an audience of senior directors from advertising, PR, medical education and recruitment agencies.
The meetings begin with the chance to network at a drinks reception which is followed by lunch. Afterwards you will be introduced to one of UK Pharma’s “Big Cheeses” who will talk about the current success stories and challenges experienced by their company – and the Industry generally.
After the speaker’s presentation there is usually a very lively Q&A session, making “Meet the Bosses” a unique occasion to gain invaluable insights into the future plans of UK Pharma’s leading players.

Professor Sir Christopher Evans OBE, is one of the driving forces behind the UK’s biotech industry. In a recent interview in The Times, the Chief Executive of Excalibur was brimming with enthusiasm for his latest idea to set-up a £500 million fund, under which, industry experts would be able to direct cash to the right places and encourage under-performing biotech companies to consolidate. Much has been written about the UK biotech industry and its relationship with ‘big pharma’ so it will be fascinating to hear Sir Chris’s views first-hand.
